Administration

Matthias Schnell, PhD, the Immunology and Microbial Pathogenesis Program Director, is Professor of Immunology and Microbiology and the Director of the Jefferson Vaccine Center.  His research focuses on Rhabdovirus-based vectors as vaccines against other infectious diseases (HIV-1 and emerging infectious diseases). Dr. Schnell’s laboratory is also interested in understanding the interaction of rabies virus with the infected host at the molecular level.

Administrative oversight for the Program is provided by the Graduate Studies Committee: David Abraham, PhD, D. Craig Hooper, PhD, Laurence Eisenlohr, VMD, PhD, Tim Manser, PhD, Matthias Schnell, PhD, Jianke Zhang, PhD
