Course Description
Provides students with a framework for understanding the complex set of interactions between bacteria and the hosts they colonize and infect. After completing this course, students will be familiar with the myriad mechanisms pathogenic mechanisms, physical and biochemical, that bacteria employ and the effects of these factors on their human hosts. This course should serve as the foundation for understanding the process of infectious diseases.
