Student Insurance — 2007-2008 Academic Year
Thomas Jefferson University requires that all students have adequate and acceptable health insurance. If students do not already have coverage through a spouse, parent, or employer, Jefferson offers a group health insurance plan. Enrollment in the dental insurance plan is optional and not a requirement of the university. All matriculated students are automatically enrolled in the counseling/mental health services plan that is offered at no additional cost to students.
The Jefferson College of Graduate Studies offers the following types of insurance coverage for its students. Please click on each link below for more information.
If you are currently enrolled in any insurance plans offered through the Graduate College in the 2006-2007 academic year, this coverage will expire on August 31, 2007 and you MUST complete enrollment for insurance coverage in 2007-2008 by September 1, 2007.
If you are a graduate student in any of the health professions related programs, you will need to complete enrollment/waiver through the Jefferson College of Health Professions. Visit their website for more information.
Contact our student insurance coordinator if you have any further questions.
