Research Interests:
As an undergraduate I worked on two primary projects: one studying HSV-1 in order to ultimately develop the virus as a vector for brain gene therapy, and another on chemosensory and bitter taste aversion. Following graduation I continued to work at UPenn studying schizophrenia, though in the future I would like to move more in the direction of movement disorders, particularly those with neurodegenerative pathophysiology.
Personal:
Though I have lived in Philly for 6 years now, one of my favorite things to do is explore the city on my bike. I generally love all things active--running, ultimate frisbee, yoga--but I also like to indulge my creative side with good art, writing or a meal at one of the many awesome restaurants in the Philly.
