Faculty Highlights
Department of Occupational Therapy Vice Chairman and Director of Graduate
Programs, Roseann Schaaf, PhD, OTR/L, FAOTA was invited to present
a paper on occupational therapy using a sensory integrative approach
with children with autism at the Johns Hopkins University School of
Medicine Annual Conference, Spectrum of Developmental Disabilities
XXVI, Autism to Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. She was also
invited to present her current work on sensory processing, neuroplasticity
and activity at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and at the Pediatric
Therapy Network Annual Research Symposium in Long Beach, CA. Dr. Schaaf
is the Project Director of Thomas Jefferson University's Sensory
Integration Laboratory in addition to her roles as Vice Chairman
and Director of Graduate Programs.
