  Bioscience Technologies...the Jefferson Difference
   
 
  • With programs in biotechnology, cytotechnology and medical technology, Jefferson offers one of the most extensive multi-specialty Bioscience Technologies departments in the country.

  • A variety of program options have been designed for students with two and three years of college experience, as well as those who have already earned a bachelor's degree in another field of study.

  • There are approximately 50 clinical and research sites for students enrolled in the Bioscience Technologies. As part of their curriculum, students will gain experience at up to four different sites.

  • Bioscience students work in teams in several departmental interdisciplinary courses.

  • Departmental alumni work very closely with students providing a great resource for networking

  • Students are encouraged to participate in both faculty and clinical research on-site and in our affiliated laboratories
