Baccalaureate and Master’s Degree Programs
 

Biotechnology/Applied Molecular Technologies
Biotechs use information obtained at the molecular level, such as RNA, DNA and proteins, to study and develop new therapeutic, diagnostic and environmental products and services.

Cytotechnology/Cell Sciences
Cytotechs evaluate cell specimens, detect, interpret and report the presence or absence of malignant cells (cancer), precancerous changes, infections, inflammatory patterns and treatment-related conditions.

Medical Technology/Clinical Laboratory Sciences
 Med Techs perform chemical, hematological, immunological, microscopic and microbiological tests for the diagnosis and monitoring of diseases.


Categorical and Specialist Track Programs

These Part-time Post-Baccalaureate Tracks are designed for individuals who have completed at least a Bachelors Degree that included at least 30 semester credits of biology and chemistry courses.

Molecular Biology Specialist Track
for clinical laboratory professionals, research technicians and junior scientists who want to earn new or additional certification for job advancement or job mobility are eligible for entry into this Specialist Track. Learn more about the Molecular Biology Specialist track.

Categorical Clinical Laboratory Tracks
for individuals with a BS or MS who are interested in becoming certified in specific areas of clinical laboratory practice, these programs lead to categorical certification in

  • Clinical Chemistry
  • Hematology
  • Blood Banking (Immunohematology)
  • Microbiology

  • Bachelor of Science in Bioscience Technologies (BT, CT, MT)
  • Master of Science in Bioscience Technologies (BT, CT, MT)
  • Categorical Certificate (Bloodbank, Chemistry, Microbiology, Hematology)
  • Specialty Certificate ( Molecular Biology)
