Course Description: 

To gain experience and proficiency in the clinical and/or research applications of cell and developmental biology, students will become familiar with state-of-the-art instrumentation and specialized research techniques in microbiology, immunology and/or molecular biology through placement in a clinical or research laboratory of the University or in an affliate institution or their place of employment. The type of research laboraory and duration of training for this experience and hence the credit hours, will vary depending upon the student's prior experience, needs, and career goals.
