Tuesday Morning Conferences

Beginning in September, resident conferences are held most Tuesdays from 6:15 - 6:45 am primarily to review import basic science topics covered on the written anesthesia board exams. Residents are expected to have read the assigned chapter in Miller's Anesthesiology prior to the conference.

Thursday Morning Conferences

Throught the year, conferences are held Thursday monrings at 6:15 - 7:00 am, prior to the weekly Grand Rounds presentations. These conferences cover a variety of primarily clinical topics.

Anesthesia Department Grand Rounds

The Department's formal Grand Rounds are held each Thursday from 7:00 - 7:50 am throughout the adacemic year. These feature outside speakers, monthly Anesthesia Morbidity & Mortality conferences, and combined surgical anesthesia M&M conferences. In addition, mock orals are conducted for all CA-2 and CA-3 residents approximately four times a year.
