Jefferson neuroscientists comprise a distinguished group of scientific investigators who have received numerous grants and awards for their research. Leaders in areas ranging from the electrophysiological and structural analysis of single membrane channels to unraveling cellular dysfunction in neurodegenerative diseases are represented among this group of outstanding scientists. Training opportunities are available in molecular and cellular neuroscience, neurobiology of disease, behavioral/cognitive neuroscience and translational neuroscience.
