Position Available Vice Chair of Emergency Medicine Jefferson University Hospitals - Methodist seeks an experienced board-certified emergency physician to lead a well-established physician group in the Emergency Department. The Vice Chair will hold a faculty appointment in the Department of Emergency Medicine of Thomas Jefferson University. The candidate must · Possess seasoned administrative and leadership qualities. · Be able to work with administration and primary physicians for the betterment of the patients and the hospital. · Have a passion for providing not only state of the art emergency medical care and · Expect and be an example of exemplary customer service. Located in historic South Philadelphia near the city’s sports entertainment complex, the Methodist Emergency Department sees approximately 35,000 patients annually and is supported by residencies in medicine, surgery, and orthopedics. Jefferson EM senior-level residents and Jefferson Medical College senior medical students rotate year round through the Methodist ED, which also includes a Fast Track.
