Salary / Benefits

Salary:

Salary is commensurate with the number of years of post graduate training; this level is established each year by the University Board of Trustees. In the past several years, cost of living adjustments have been made at the annual rate of approximately 3-5%.

Salary levels for the 2004 academic year are listed below:

• PGY4: $47,000
• PGY5: $48,500
• PGY6: $50,000

Benefits:

Jefferson offers a flexible benefits program and provides family health insurance, life insurance, long and short term disability insurance and malpractice coverage. Vision and dental care benefits are also available to all Jefferson employees after one year of employment.

Vacation:

Four weeks of vacation are allotted and are to be taken in one week blocks. For first and second year Fellows, vacations may be taken at any time except June and July. Every effort will be made to excuse fellows for special religious holidays.
