The information on this site is intended to help students "underrepresented in medicine" to obtain accurate and detailed information on our programs, in addition to Admissions information for JMC. Furthermore, it provides JMC students the opportunity to acquaint themselves with the diversity initiatives and educational programs that are a vital and integral part of our students' medical school experience.
Office of Diversity & Minority Affairs (ODAMA)
The Office of Diversity and Minority Affairs (ODAMA) was established in 2001. ODAMA’s mission is to recruit and retain students considered by the Association of American Medical Colleges as underrepresented in medicine. In addition, ODAMA has been charged with implementing educational programs and activities that promote cultural awareness and sensitivity while addressing issues of diversity within the JMC community.
