Joseph M. Montella, MD, graduated from Jefferson Medical College and completed
his residency in Ob-Gyn at Jefferson University Hospital. He went on to complete
a fellowship in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery at the University
of California, Irvine before returning to Jefferson to start the Division
of Urogynecology. For over ten years, he served in various capacities on
the executive committee of the American Urogynecologic Society and was elected
as its President in 2005. He is board certified in Ob-Gyn, as well as a member
of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
