8th Annual Walk for Parkinson's Disease to be held on Saturday, April 18th, 2009.

The 8th Annual Walk for Parkinson’s (April 18th, 2009) is fast approaching!

As in years past, the Farber Institute for Neuroscience has put together a team to help raise money for this wonderful cause.

The Parkinson Council, the chapter of the National Parkinson Foundation serving the greater Delaware Valley, promotes research into the causes of and the cure for Parkinson's Disease and related neurological disorders.  Alongside their education efforts for patients, caregivers and healthcare professionals, the PD council uses fundraising events such as the PD walk to actively fund basic and clinical research.
