Dr. Navarro''s clinical activities focus on the care of patients with all types of acute and chronic liver disease. His research interests focus on drug related liver disease and non-alcohol induced steatohepatitis (NASH). He is recognized for his work in liver transplantation, and has been published widely. His research in liver disease is funded through various sources, including the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Navarro''s teaching expertise has been recognized by Yale University and Thomas Jefferson University. He was named as the American Liver Foundation, Delaware Valley Chapter, Physician of the Year, 2007.
