Application Process
Jefferson participates exclusively in a national resident matching program (Program Code No: 270475). Candidates must have completed an approved internal medicine residency and be licensed to practice in the United States. To apply, please return a completed universal application for residency enclosed within. A complete file would consist of the following:
- Completed application form sent to us directly by you
- An original photograph of yourself
- A letter from the Dean of your Medical School
- Your Medical School transcript
- Your Curriculum Vitae
- A recommendation from the Chairman of the Department of Medicine from your residency program and supporting letters from two additional members from the Department of Medicine of your Residency Program.
If you list any publications in your curriculum vitae, please enclose photocopies of the articles related to gastroenterology/hepatology. All application materials, including letters of recommendation and transcripts must be received by January 15, 2000 Personal interviews will be conducted on the designated dates with selected applicants during February through April, 2000.
