Admissions Review Period Dates

Admission is on a rolling basis and is divided into the Admissions Review Periods outlined below.

To be reviewed for a particular period, all application materials must be postmarked by the indicated date and should be submitted together in a single envelope.

Preference is given to complete applications that meet the postmark dates; however, we will accept applications as long as space is available, but no later than April 1 for pre-fall, July 15 for fall, and November 15 for spring terms.

All students who meet the postmark date for the review period will have the same chance of earning acceptance to their respective program regardless of whether the application was received at the beginning or the end of the review period.

You need not complete all prerequisites before you apply, but the majority of your science prerequisite coursework should be completed before an admissions decision can be made. All prerequisites must be completed before you enter the program. You may also earn credits through standardized tests, including CLEP. Admission is competitive, as there are a limited number of seats in each class.

  • Couple and Family Therapy program
  • Post-professional MS in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy Doctorate
  • Transitional DPT program
  • All Radiologic Sciences programs
  • All General Studies programs

Fall 2011    
1st Admissions Review Period October 31, 2010 December 31, 2010
2nd Admissions Review Period December 31, 2010 February 28, 2011
3rd Admissions Review Period February 28, 2011 April 30, 2011
4th Admissions Review Period April 30, 2011 June 30, 2011
Final Review for Fall July 15, 2011 August 1, 2011
 

Spring Programs

  • Post-professional MS in Occupational Therapy
  • Occupational Therapy Doctorate
  • Transitional DPT
  • All General Studies programs

Spring 2012    
Final Review for Spring November 1, 2011 December 1, 2011

Note: After the 1st review period, applicants are accepted on a space available basis.

*An admissions decision can fall into one of the categories below:

  • Offered admission
  • Denied admission
  • Additional coursework needed before an admissions decision can be made
  • Waitlist
