Overview
The Bureau of Labor Statistics says that radiologic technologists who are trained in multiple modalities have better job prospects than those with just one area of expertise. That’s good news for students in the 2-year Multicompetency Bachelor of Science degree program. They learn two imaging modalities in 24 months.
The Multicompetency program is for students with no education in the radiologic sciences or a health discipline to earn a BS in Radiologic Sciences while acquiring training in a combination of modalities.
Modality options: Students must consult an admissions counselor or a Radiologic Sciences faculty member when choosing modalities. Click on the name of the modality to learn more about it.
