As an evolving profession, occupational therapy must be prepared to serve the aging population using innovative, evidence-based and client-centered interventions. “Aging in Place” services reflect a dynamic, important trend in helping older adults to remain safe and independent in their preferred living environments. This continuing education program will offer the occupational therapy practitioner new insights, perspectives and approaches to promote safety and quality of life for older adults. Participants will learn how creating supportive environments can allow older adults to continue to lead full and healthy lives.
