Scholarship & Research
Scholarship and research are integral to Jefferson’s Occupational Therapy program. Faculty and students are involved in innovative research and scholarly activities focused on a wide range of populations and areas of practice. These include community-based programs designed to assist individuals with occupational performance challenges spanning basic science research through programs designed to enhance participation in home, school, and community environments. Opportunities for student-faculty partnership exist in each of these programs, and students have the opportunity to complete an evidence-based final capstone project (OT670) in any of these areas.
