College Partnerships & Affiliations

Jefferson is affiliated with a number of colleges, universities, and community colleges which make it easy to transition into Jefferson's upper division programs (junior year of college through graduate programs).

These partnerships, including general agreements (GA) (2+2 and other degree completion programs) and articulated curriculum agreements (ACA), provide students with a wide array of college choices as they complete their prerequisite coursework.

General Agreements – 2+2, 3+1, 3+2

Forty general agreements enable students to choose from a wide variety of schools for their first two years of college. Click here to view the list of partner schools and their transfer equivalency guides. These flexible agreements allow you to spend two or three years at an affiliated institution taking the courses you want – just make sure to take the prerequisites for your degree program. Then transfer to Jefferson to complete your degree. We also accept credits from any other accredited college, university or community college. Online courses are acceptable as well.

The General Agreement entitles students enrolled at partner institutions admission to Jefferson under the following conditions:

  • All prerequisite coursework must be completed prior to enrollment at Jefferson
  • A designated partner school representative must recommend the student for admission
  • Students must have earned at least a 2.7 cumulative GPA
  • Students must have earned at least a C in all prerequisite coursework
  • Students may not have a criminal or disciplinary record
  • Admission is extended as long as there are spaces available in the entering class
  • Non-US citizens must demonstrate English language proficiency, as described in the application.

Articulated Curriculum Agreements (ACA)

Articulated curriculum agreements offer a seamless transition into upper division graduate programs while still in high school or during the freshman year in college.

  • Apply for admission just once using the partner school application. A joint Jefferson/partner school admissions committee will conduct an interview and decide on acceptable candidates.
  • Take a specified curriculum at the partner school.
  • Earn a bachelor's degree from the partner school and a graduate degree from Jefferson.

3+1 Partnership with Immaculata University

Radiologic Sciences offers a 3+1 articulated curriculum agreement program with Immaculata University. Students attend Immaculata for three years and Jefferson for one year and earn a bachelor of science (BS) in Allied Health and BS in Radiologic Sciences. More Info here...
