Overview

This option combines the 2-year Multicompetency BS program with the 1-year Master of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences. After earning the BS, transition into the MS program on a full- or part-time basis.

The Multicompetency program is for students with no education in the radiologic sciences or a health discipline to earn a BS in Radiologic Sciences while acquiring training in a combination of modalities.

Modality options: Students must consult an admissions counselor or a Radiologic Sciences faculty member when choosing modalities. Click on the name of the modality to learn more about it.

The field of Radiologic Sciences is rapidly growing and the learning curve never ends. This profession requires highly skilled and flexible practitioners, as well as proficient, qualified directors, administrators and educators. The Master of Science in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences is the only one of its kind on the East Coast.

This executive style program can be completed in 12 months or 24 months. It offers tracks in education or management in the radiologic and imaging sciences. Students may also select a clinical track in PET/CT (for students credentialed in Nuclear Medicine), CT (for students credentialed in Radiography or Radiation Therapy) or ICVT (for students credentialed in Radiography, Cardiac Sonography or Vascular Sonography). Contact Frances Gilman for more information.

Program Length

2 years (24 months) to earn the BS (September through August both years)
12–24 months to earn the MS
