First Time Applicants

While the Housing Department will mail Housing Applications to those newly accepted to the University, a potential student can also request an application by calling the Housing Office directly, 215-955-8913. Please submit an application at your earliest convenience to be considered for on-campus housing.  Applications are given priority based on the date they are received.  Potential residents who have not yet been officially accepted to the University are still eligible to apply. You will receive an assignment once our department is notified of an official acceptance.

Sept- May

Early Applications are accepted beginning in September for those you plan to matriculate the following academic year. Applications will continue to be accepted throughout the summer months but Housing applications are processed in the order they are received.

June- September

Housing assignments are offered to applicants beginning in June and continue throughout the summer months. Exceptions are made in early April to accommodate programs that begin in May (ex. FACT Nursing Program students.)

Each eligible applicant will receive an offer by phone or e-mail from the Housing Coordinator. If a student verbally accepts the unit, the appropriate paperwork will be mailed to him/her. To officially accept a Housing offer, signed paperwork must be returned to the Housing Office within the designated time frame (approximately 10 days.) All residents are asked to write two checks with the paperwork: prorated first months rent and a $500 Security deposit. These amounts will be outlined in your assignment letter.

May 31st

All applications received by May 31st from first year students who have been officially accepted will be guaranteed an on-campus housing offer. (Note:  Even potential residents who have not yet been officially accepted to the University should submit an application by this date.)
