News about the New Prescription Plan ID Cards to
Arrive in December 2011
- The mailing from Prescription Solutions includes a booklet describing the plan benefits with your ID cards attached to the back of the booklet.
- You will receive two ID cards. The cards only show the employee’s name but your enrolled dependents will be listed at the pharmacy when you present the card.
- Benefits with Prescription Solutions are effective January 1, 2012. Use your card on or after that date and destroy your Aetna Rx cards.
- Prescription Solution’s Customer Service If you have questions please call the Prescription Solutions’ Customer Service Center beginning December 19, 2011. Our account is NEW and they are in the final stages of setting us up in their Customer Service Systems.
- If you need additional cards please call Customer Service at 800-797-9791 beginning December 19, 2011.
- Should your cards not arrive by December 27, 2011 please call the Prescription Solutions Customer Service Center at 800-797-9791 to order cards.

You will have the lowest out-of-pocket prescription costs when you use Jefferson pharmacies.

You must use a Jefferson pharmacy for the following:
- Maintenance medication you take on an on-going basis over time
- Certain drugs that require special handling such as Proton Pump Inhibitors, Smoking Cessation prescriptions, Genetically engineered drugs etc.
The prescription plan requires you to order generic drugs when available, whether at a retail pharmacy or a Jefferson pharmacy.
