The Thomas Jefferson University Hospital Residency Program in Internal Medicine accepts applications through the Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). We cannot process applications received through any other electronic or paper medium.

* Additional USMLE Information:
Internal Medicine interns are required to pass USMLE Step I and Step II (CK and CS). Please note that it takes approximately 4-8 weeks for the USMLE Board to release the scores, therefore we advise taking the exam no later than March of the year in which you are starting your internship.
Additional Information for IMG's:
- Graduation within the last 5 years is preferred, but not mandatory
- Hands-on clinical experience in not required to apply, but it is highly preferred
- We sponsor H1 and J1 visas (we are exempt for the H1 cap)
- ECFMG certification is required prior to the rank deadline
- We do NOT offer observerships or externships
