Iacovitti_Rostami-award

Abdolmohammed Rostami, M.D., Ph.D. and Lorraine Iacovitti, Ph.D.

The inaugural award for Significant and Distinguished Contributions to the Graduate Program in Neuroscience was awarded to three faculty co-recipients:  Dr. Lorraine Iacovitti, Dr. Abdolmohammed Rostami and Dr. Rosenwasser.  For the past two years, these individuals have combined their efforts to provide financial support for graduate program related activities.  Financial resources were used to defray expenses related to a highly regarded yearlong neuroscience seminar series that brought in speakers from around the United States, social outings for students, laboratory coats and a book allowance for all students and funds to develop recruitment materials and enhance the program website.  This new award will be given annually. The recipient will be selected by the program director in consultation with the program executive committee.
