Lab/PI Michael Oshinsky, Ph.D.
Undergrad

Rutgers University, 2002
BA Cell Biology and Neuroscience

Research Interests:
The focus of our laboratory is to study the pathophysiology of migraine and recurrent headache using a rat model. I specifically investigate the mechanism of ethanol-induced headache using behavioral and neurochemical output measures. In addition, I look at blood brain barrier permeability in this model. Headache is an extremely prevalent pathology with few preclinical studies. I hope that my research increases attention and interest to the field.
