Thomas Jefferson University and the University of Delaware

3 + 2 BS/MS in Occupational Therapy Transfer Agreement

Earn both the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Master of Science (MS) degrees in five years after graduation from high school.

Apply for admission to the 3+2 BS/MS program using the regular University of Delaware undergraduate application.  If admitted, you will spend the first three years at Delaware and then proceed to Jefferson for the final two years of Occupational Therapy coursework.  Earn your bachelor's degree in Health Studies from Delaware after successful completion of the first year at Jefferson School of Health Professions (JSHP.)  Jefferson awards a master's degree in Occupational Therapy after successful completion of the third year at JSHP.

Curriculum Requirements
The University of Delaware

- Please refer to the Undergraduate Admissions criteria as outlined by the University of Delaware.
- Interview with the University of Delaware/Jefferson joint admissions committee (late January/early February)

- Official high school transcripts
- SAT Reasoning test scores
- Admissions essay with reference to OT interest
- Letters of reference
- Application fee
- December 1st deadline

- 3-year BS in Health Studies curricular track
- Credits earned during the first year at JSHP will be counted toward the completion of the University of Delaware's BS degree in Health Studies

- Students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA both overall and in the sciences
- A grade of at least 'C' is required to trasnfer prerequisite coursework to JSHP
