Youth is the gift of nature, but age is a work of art.” – Garson Kanin

What We Do

The Center strives to apply the highest quality scientific investigation and rigor to solve home and community-based health care issues. Research projects are either initiated by the Center or conducted in collaboration with other academic departments, health professionals, community organizations or investigators in other universities. In its research activities, the Center investigators seek to integrate theoretical frameworks and applied research methodologies to produce valid, reliable and useful findings that can be translated into best practices to improve health care services and enhance the quality of life for older adults and their families.
