| The Advanced Placement program is designed for students who have a baccalaureate
degree including prerequisite coursework or have (50) credits in specific
courses and professional experience* or certification for which they
will receive an additional (39) professional credits. During one year
of study at JCHP, these students focus on one imaging modality.

Students who have a baccalaureate degree and prerequisite coursework
are eligible to apply to the following AP programs:
Students who have certification in or have graduated from an accredited
program* in radiologic sciences or other related health field may
apply to the following AP programs:

- JRCDMS (Joint Review Committee on Education in
Diagnostic Medical Sonography)

Radiologic Technology)
- JRCNMT (Joint Review Committee on Education in
Nuclear Medicine Technology)
- One of the six regional accrediting organizations
Outside the US:
- Conjoint Secretariat of Canadian Medical Association
- Australian Institute of Radiography
A Bachelor of Science degree in Radiologic Sciences is granted
by the University upon satisfactory completion of the prescribed
one-year curriculum.
