Maureen joined the Thomas Jefferson University faculty full time in 2005 as Instructor and Clinical Coordinator for the Cardiac Sonography program. She has extensive experience in Echocardiography and was the technical director of Thomas Jefferson University Hospital's Echocardiography Lab achieving ICAEL accreditation for the lab.

In her 18 years at TJUH, Maureen was a frequent lecturer at local conferences and often coordinated the "hands on" session for the course participants. She has also presented at national conferences, conducted training sessions for pharmaceutical companies, and trained students and fellows rotating through the Echo Lab on a daily basis.

A prior adjunct faculty member at Thomas Jefferson University, Maureen is also a published author and has written several chapters for instructional use and coordinated and assisted with various research projects conducted in the TJUH Echo Lab.

Maureen is a Thomas Jefferson University alumnus, with a B.S. in Diagnostic Imaging. She is a registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) specializing in adult and pediatric Echocardiography as well as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) with specialties in abdomen and OB-GYN. In addition, Maureen also holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Bloomsburg University and an MBA from Saint Joseph's University.

Maureen is also a member of the American Society of Echocardiography (ASE), Society of Diagnostic Sonography (SDMS) and the Delaware Valley Echo Society.
