Traci Fox joined the Department of Radiologic Sciences as an adjunct faculty member in 2005 before becoming a permanent faculty member in 2008. Traci is an Instructor and Clinical Coordinator for both the General Sonography and Vascular Sonography programs. Traci is also a two-time graduate of Thomas Jefferson University, having earned her Baccalaureate Degree in Diagnostic Imaging in 1993 and her Masters Degree in Radiologic and Imaging Sciences in 2007.

After working as a clinical diagnostic medical sonographer for twelve years, Traci accepted the position of Technical Coordinator at the Jefferson Ultrasound Research and Education Institute in 2005. In that position Traci had many roles to fill, including coordinating the Visiting Fellowship program in which visitors from around the world attended educational programs at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. In addition to her education and research duties, Traci was also responsible for coordinating the exhibit hall at the Leading Edge in Diagnostic Ultrasound national conference meeting.

Besides being an accomplished lecturer, Traci has had several research papers published in peer-reviewed journals. Traci is registered by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in abdomen, obstetrics & gynecology, and breast, as well as vascular. Traci is also registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Traci's memberships in professional societies include the American Institute of Ultrasound in Medicine (AIUM), the Society of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (SDMS), as well as the Society for Vascular Ultrasound (SVU).
