ESL Classes at Jefferson!

Jeff-at-Night offers a Certificate of Proficiency in English as a Second Language (ESL).  Classes are offered in the introductory, intermediate and advanced levels in speaking/listening and reading/writing.  Eligible Jefferson employees can use their tuition benefit to take these classes.

A placement test, which takes approximately two hours to complete, evaluates speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. Placement testing for spring ESL classes will be held as follows:  5:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 23 and Tuesday, December 16, 2008 and at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, November 17, 2008.

Space permitting, spouses of Jefferson employees who have taken an ESL class may also enroll in an ESL class for non-credit for a fee of $300.

Registration for the placement test is required.  To register, contact Jeff-at-Night at 215-503-8414 or jeff-at-night@jefferson.edu.  Upon registration students will be sent a confirmation email indicating the test location.
