Being a fieldwork educator provides you with the opportunity to contribute your knowledge and expertise to future Occupational Therapists. In addition, it allows you to work with students who bring to your site the most up-to-date information, innovations and research. Later, you may reap the rewards of exposing students to your setting as you look for new employees. Thomas Jefferson University appreciates your dedication to the profession and its continuing development. Here are a few ways we can help contribute to your continuing professional development.

  • Philadelphia Region Fieldwork Consortium (PRFC) Activities- The PRFC provides several continuing education opportunities each year. These may include:
    • Clinical Council Day – Full day of continuing education, usually held in March of each year
    • AOTA-  The PRFC often presents at the annual AOTA conference
    • POTA- The PRFC often presents at the annual POTA conference
