Exciting opportunity to work with the newly established Living Laboratory for Elder Care within the Jefferson Center for Applied Research on Aging and Health AND take classes at Jefferson College of Health Professions, Department of Occupational Therapy, that may be applied toward a post-professional Masters in OT or a Clinical Doctorate (OTD). |
Opportunities for Pennsylvania and New Jersey Occupational Therapists
Clinical Service: Provide evidence-based interventions to older adults and families within the environments they live (home, adult day centers, CCRS). Individual will be trained in specific intervention protocols.
Training: Assist in providing established education and training seminars/workshops to health professionals, families and older adults
Program Development: Assist in the development of training workshops for health professionals and family caregivers, based on evidence-based practices.
Participate in research meetings
Requirements:
- PA or NJ OT License (as appropriate to practice site)
- Experience in working with families, older adults or in home care preferred.
- Program Development experience preferred
