Non-Matriculated Student Options

The Jefferson OTD program enables you to take courses as a non-matriculated student. Credits earned through this option can then be applied to the OTD degree program. There are many reasons you may wish to choose this option. Some common reasons include:

  • You want to increase your knowledge and skill in a specific area of clinical practiceand/or education
  • You want to try out an OTD course before entering the program, to see if the program is a good match for you
  • You would like to enter the OTD program, but the timing is not optimal right now

    Spring 2010 Courses Available to Non-Matriculated Students

  • OT680, Leading Edge Occupational Therapy Practice
  • OT797, Seminar in Advanced Practice: College Teaching in the Digital Age
  • OT782, Leadership: Moving beyond Traditional Roles
  • OT798, Doctorate Seminar (if taken along with OT782)

    How Do I Sign Up?


  • Complete the non-matriculated student form (be sure to complete all information)
  • Fax to 215-503-3499 for OT Faculty signature. We will then initiate the process for registration.
  • You will then be registered for the course and notified by the Tuition Office and the Department of Occupational Therapy
  • You start class online from anywhere you are!
  • You have the option to attend on-campus sessions on January 16 and April 24, 2010 (OT797 and OT782)
