Patient/therapist/family interaction, including verbal and nonverbal behaviors; impact of service availability on functional outcomes; impaired self awareness in traumatic brain injury (TBI).

Current Research Projects
- Health Aging, Exploratory Study #1: Exploring concerns, adaptive and cultural mechanisms used by aging African American women and men of varying health and functional status.
- Professional development in occupational therapy students;
- Qualitative study of functional outcomes in people with TBI;
- Qualitative study of impaired self awareness in people with TBI.
