Thomas Jefferson University and Villanova University

3+2 Entry-Level Master's of Occupational Therapy Transfer Agreement

Thomas Jefferson University and Villanova University have entered into an articulation agreement that enables students to earn both the Bachelor of Science (BS) and Entry-Level Master's of Science in Occupational Therapy (MS) degrees in 5 years after graduation from high school.

Students will apply for admission to the 3+2 occupational therapy program using the regular Villanova undergraduate application. If admitted, students will spend the first three years at Villanova and then proceed to Jefferson School of Health Professions, Thomas Jefferson University for the final two years of graduate occupational therapy coursework and fieldwork. The BS in Biology or BS in Psychology from Villanova will be awarded after successful completion of the first year at Jefferson School of Health Professions. The graduate occupational therapy degree from Thomas Jefferson University will be awarded after successful completion of two years at JSHP.

Villanova University

-SAT (critical reading and math)

1280 or higher

-Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher

-Interview with VU -JSHP joint admissions committee (late winter – early spring)

-Official high school transcripts

-SAT scores

-Essay

-Activities Resume (to include OT hours)

-Application fee

-November 1st deadline

Please apply on the Villanova University application only

-3 – year B.S. in Biology or B.S. in Psychology curricular track

-Credits earned during the first year at JSHP will be counted toward the completion of the Villanova University’s B.S. degree in Biology or Psychology

-Students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA both overall and in the sciences

-A grade of at least a ‘C’ is required to transfer prerequisite coursework to JSHP
