Bioscience Technologies...the Jefferson Difference
With programs in biotechnology, cytotechnology and medical
technology, Jefferson offers one of the most extensive multi-specialty
Bioscience Technologies departments in the country.
A variety of program options have been designed for students with
two and three years of college experience, as well as those who have
already earned a bachelor's degree in another field of study.
There are approximately 50 clinical and research sites for students
enrolled in the Bioscience Technologies. As part of their curriculum, students
will gain experience at up to four different sites.
Bioscience students work in teams in several departmental interdisciplinary courses.
Departmental alumni work very closely with students providing a great
resource for networking
Students are encouraged to participate in both faculty and clinical
research on-site and in our affiliated laboratories
