Duquesne University Recognizes Cynthia Sanoski as Distinguished Alumnus
Philadelphia, Pa. – Cynthia Sanoski, PharmD, Chair, Department of Pharmacy Practice, at Jefferson School of Pharmacy, has been given the Distinguished Alumnus Award by the Mylan School of Pharmacy at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, Pa.
"We congratulate Dr. Sanoski on the recognition she has earned for herself and the Jefferson School of Pharmacy," says Rebecca S. Finley, PharmD, MS. "We are proud of her achievements as a pharmacy practitioner and educator."
The Distinguished Alumnus Award is presented to someone who exemplifies the spirit of Duquesne University and the Mylan School of Pharmacy in particular, both in her professional life and by her contribution to the school, the university and the alumni association.
Dr. Sanoski graduated summa cum laude from Duquesne University's School of Pharmacy in 1993. She received the Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Ohio State University and went on to complete a two-year post-doctoral cardiovascular pharmacotherapy fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago. Dr. Sanoski served as Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy at the Philadelphia College of Pharmacy at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia before joining Jefferson School of Pharmacy in 2008.
