Become a Nurse Educator at Jefferson

A shortage of nurse educators is a contributing factor to the overall nursing shortage. Some estimates suggest that there will be shortage of 400,000 nurses by 2012, partly due to the lack of educators.

Have you considered a career as a nurse educator or clinical instructor? Are you in an educator role but haven't had the academic preparation? If so, Jefferson's Nurse Education Track can help you attain your educational goal so that more nursing students can attain theirs.

Jefferson offers two options for students interested in nurse education. Those with an MSN can earn a post-master's certificate. Nurses who are pursuing an MSN can minor in nursing education.
