3+3 Program for High school students interested in the DPT

Through partnerships with select institutions, physical therapy students can earn a Bachelor of Science (BS) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree in six years after graduation from high school. High school students apply directly to:

3+3 DPT with Penn State Abington
3+3 DPT with Villanova University
3+3 DPT with St. Josephs' University
3+3 DPT with Elizabethtown College
3+3 DPT with Muhlenberg College

Students who enroll in the 3+3 Program will maintain regular contact with a mentor who is a JCHP physical therapy professor. During three years of undergraduate work, the mentor will work with students to ensure that they are taking the appropriate courses and maintaining the requisite GPA to enter the second half of the program. Students will visit the Jefferson campus several times during the first three years to sit in on lectures and observe labs before they matriculate at JCHP.
