Thomas Jefferson University and Muhlenberg College
3+3 Doctor of Physical Therapy Transfer Agreement
Thomas Jefferson University and Muhlenberg College have entered into an articulation agreement that enables students to earn both a Bachelor of Science (BS) or a Bachelor of Arts (AB) and Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degrees in six years after graduation from high school.
Students will apply for admission to the 3+3 DPT program using the regular Muhlenberg College undergraduate application. If admitted, students will spend the first three years at Muhlenberg and then proceed to Jefferson School of Health Professions, Thomas Jefferson University for the final three years of graduate coursework. The BS in Biology or Natural Science, or the AB in Dance, Psychology or Sociology will be awarded after successful completion of the first year at Jefferson School of Health Professions. The DPT degree from Thomas Jefferson University will be awarded after successful completion of the third year at JSHP.

-3 – year B.S. in Biology or Natural Science track or the A.B. in Dance, Psychology or Sociology
- Credits earned during the first year at JSHP will be counted toward the completion of the Muhlenberg College’s B.S. or A.B. degree |
-Students must earn at least a 3.0 GPA both overall and in the sciences
-A grade of at least a ‘C’ is required to transfer prerequisite coursework to JSHP |
