HB Open Dorrance H. Hamilton Building Opens

October 19, 2007, marked the opening of    the Dorrance H. Hamilton Building, located at the heart of Jefferson’s academic precinct. Hundreds were on hand to celebrate the occasion.

AnnenbergAnnenberg Foundation Establishes Rothman Chair
Todd J. Albert, MD, PhD (pictured with Robert L Barchi, MD, PhD), was named the first Richard H. Rothman Chair of Orthopaedic Surgery at an investiture ceremony held in November. The Annenberg Foundation established the chair to honor internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon and pioneer, Richard H. Rothman, MD, PhD '65.

Eakins Legacy Fund Scholarship Recipients

The Eakins Legacy Fund was created to support key university initiatives such as endowed scholarships for meritorious students. Jefferson Awards Gala
6568The Fifth Annual Jefferson Awards Gala was held on Thursday, October 11, 2007, honoring Lynne and Harold Honickman, who received the Award of Merit, and Anthony J. DiMarino Jr., MD, who received the Achievement Award in Medicine.
