Unrestricted Gift

Your unrestricted gift of cash is available for immediate use and allows Jefferson to direct gifts where they are needed most urgently: to provide seed money for faculty researchers, to obtain new technologies for the hospital, to support our students and residents, and to build new buildings.

Method of Payment

Your gift can be made with cash, check, or credit card. In most cases, this donation is fully deductible for donors who itemize their federal income taxes. Your gift can be paid over time. For example, a pledge of $10,000 can be paid in four quarterly installments.

Matching Gifts

Many corporations matching gifts to charitable institutions made by employees and directors; some will match the gifts of employee spouses and retired employees as well. To find out whether your company will match your gift click here, or contact your personnel office for information about your employer’s matching-gift program, or call 877-533-3443 for assistance. A donor must secure the proper matching-gift forms from the corporation and submit them to the Jefferson Foundation in order for Jefferson to receive the matching gifts.
