Information for JeffShare Home Users
This section contains information for setting up access to your JeffShare folders from a home PC. You do not need to do anything to a laptop that you bring home from Jefferson other than ensuring an active internet connection, if you already have full JeffShare access at work.
The WebUI may be accessed at jeffshare.jefferson.edu. The JeffShare drive may be installed on your home computer. Installation and connection instruction and the installation file for the JeffShare (Xythos) drives are found below. If you do not want to install the Drive on your home machine, you may still have drag-and-drop capabilities in Windows Explorer and MS Office Applications' "File Open/Save As" access to your JeffShare files by setting up a Web Folder.
Laptop users who wish to access their files while traveling, even when an internet connection is not available, please read "Showing JeffShare Status in Windows Explorer" and "Working Offline with JeffShare." These two documents will explain how to ensure that the files you wish to access will always be available to you.
