Does the functionality for a PC differ from that of a MAC?
There are no significant functional differences. However, Firefox may interfere when you want to download or print a report in PDF format. To have PDF files open automatically after download, you must disable Firefox's PDF plug-in.
To do so:
- In Firefox, from the Tools menu, select Options.
- Select Downloads.
- Click View & Edit Actions.
- Select the line for the PDF extension.
- Click Change Action.
- Select Open them with the default application and click OK.
Downloaded PDF files will now open in a separate Acrobat window, not a Firefox browser window.
If you do not want to disable the Acrobat plug-in, each time you download to PDF, select Provide link. Save the PDF file by right-clicking the link and selecting Save Link As. You can then open it outside the browser.
Is training available for Vista Plus?
Yes, hands-on training is available. To view the schedule and to register click on Classroom Sessions. Note that attendance is limited to 11, by the size of the training room.
