Benefits of Virtualization
Virtualization technology is an integral feature of our data center. During our data center migration, it provided the Implementation Team with the seamless ability to migrate to the new facility by creating a virtual snapshot of a physical server and failover to that instance prior to moving the physical hardware.
Virtual systems are complete images of the physical server environment. Virtual servers offer the following benefits:
- More effective use of hardware cycles
- Servers are mirrored to their virtual targets in a secondary site
