Top Three Microsoft Exchange Online Email Issues Addressed

There are currently three issues with migrated Microsoft Exchange Online users that have been identified as having a high user impact:

1) Sending emails to TJU/JUP recipients results in 'Undeliverable' messages; TJU/JUP recipients  - not receiving emails.

2) Emails are no longer being sent using client's 'nickname'; Full (proper) name now displayed in email address.

3) Clients cannot find specific email contacts in the Global Address List (GAL).

JeffMail Login Issues with Safari 5.1.4 and 5.1.5

Users have reported issues logging into JeffMail (http://jeffmail.jefferson.edu) using Safari 5.1.4 or 5.1.5.  These users are redirected to the Outlook Live login page, where their login credentials are invalid. 

Jeff IT is currently looking into this issue.  In the meantime, we recommend that Safari users use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox to access JeffMail.  Jeff IT also suggests that clients refrain from upgrading to Safari 5.1.4 or 5.1.5 until this issue has been resolved.

On Saturday morning, May 19, 2012, from 5am to 7am TJUH IS Network Operations will be performing a network change in the Martin Building. During this change window, intermittent network connectivity (Wired and Wireless) is expected in the Martin building.

If there are reports of network related issues after 7am please call the Operations Center at (215) 955-7975, Option #1.

Scheduled JUP EMR (jupempower) Downtime

For the final phase of the planned migration to new mass storage hardware, the JUP EMR (jupempower) will have an extended downtime window on Saturday night, May 19th. Access to jupempower for both EMR and Flowcast Web Framework will be unavailable from 8pm on Saturday until approximately 8am Sunday, May 20th. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding during the migration.
